Is The NDLEA Recruitment Shortlisted Candidates List Out?
No, the list for the 2025/2026 NDLEA recruitment exercise is not out. However, this guide is here to prepare you so that you know what to do when the list eventually gets released.
NDLEA Documents Needed For Screening
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) will conduct a screening exercise for the shortlisted candidates in the 2024/2025 recruitment. The screening will be held at various locations, and candidates are required to present the following documents:

- Original and Photocopies of Credentials: Present a well-organized file containing original and photocopies of all relevant certificates, including academic/statement of results, birth/declaration of age certificates, NYSC discharge/exemption certificates, certificate of state of origin, and professional certificates where applicable. Failure to bring necessary documents will result in disqualification.
- Passport Photographs: Bring two recent color passport photographs without cap/hat.
- Apparel: Wear a pair each of white (unmarked) round neck vests, navy blue shorts (without stripes), canvass, and white socks.
- Guarantors’ Forms: Provide duly completed copies of the guarantors’ forms.
- Identification: Carry the printed National Identification Card and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Medical Fitness Certificate: Present a current certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
- Additional Requirement for Narcotic Assistants: If applicable, include the Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants.
- Writing Materials: Ensure you have necessary writing materials for the screening/interview.
How To Check for your Name in the NDLEA Shortlist
To check if you made it to the NDLEA Recruitment shortlist, follow these straightforward procedures:
- Go to the NDLEA recruitment portal at recruitment.ndlea.gov.ng.
- Look for the menu section related to shortlisted candidates on the portal.
- Click on the shortlisted candidates’ menu and go through the list once it opens. Names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed there.
Keep in mind that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) will also publish the shortlisted names on their social media handles. Additionally, those who make it to the shortlist will be contacted using the details they provided when creating an account during the application process.
