Yes, the Nigerian Airforce Recruitment is out. Online Registration started on 29 January 2024 and will close on 11 March 2024. Unfortunately, those born before December 15, 1994 (or 1984 for medical consultants) are not eligible.

Interested candidates are hereby notified that the Nigerian Airforce is currently only accepting applications in the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) program and are advised to submit their applications before or on the deadline which is on Monday, March 11, 2024.

  4. Medical Fitness:
    • Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, meeting the Nigerian Air Force’s standards.
  5. Local Government Area Attestation Form:
    • Must be signed by a military officer, not below the rank of Wing Commander, or equivalent in the Army, Navy, or a Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above. Alternatively, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate, and School Principals can also sign.
    • Accompanied by the signee’s passport photograph and a photocopy of their ID.
  6. Presentation of Original Credentials:
    • Originals and photocopies of birth certificate, educational/professional certificates, indigeneship certificate, and attestation to good character.
    • Two recent passport-size photos stamped and countersigned by the appropriate officer.
  7. Impersonation Warning: Applicants using false documents will be disqualified and may face prosecution.
  8. Application Form: After completing the forms, print the Acknowledgment Form, Parent/Guardians Consent Form, and Local Government Area Attestation Form.
  9. Invitation for Interview: Successful applicants will be invited for the Selection Board Interview Exercise through the portal www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng, email, or phone.
  10. Academic Qualifications:
    • Minimum of Second Class Lower Division for first-degree holders, Lower Credit for HND holders.
    • Credit in English Language and Mathematics required, and computer literacy is an added advantage.
  11. NYSC Discharge Certificate: Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying for DSSC.
  12. Professional Certificates: Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.
